Welcome to Broad-Ley Greenwood Structures
I’m a greenwood carpenter and joiner based in South West Cornwall, with over 20 years of experience working with oak, roundwood and other natural timbers. My work ranges from bespoke garden structures and cabins to larger timber frames, restoration work and practical carpentry. I care deeply about sound methodology, careful workmanship and creating structures that feel honest, strong and built to last whilst also sustainability conscious.

A Careful Approach to Craft
Every project begins with thought, accuracy and an understanding of how timber behaves. From marking out and geometry to cutting joints and bringing a structure together, good workmanship depends on sound methodology, attention to detail and respect for the material.
My Ethos
Sustainability matters deeply to my work, from the sourcing of timber to the long life of the structures themselves. Alongside many years spent working with wood, I have also planted thousands of trees and developed a lasting connection with orchards, biodiversity and landscape stewardship.
A LIFE WORKING WITH WOOD
Working with wood and trees has been a common thread throughout my life — as a carpenter, joiner, forester, landscaper and orchardist. Even the logo reflects that connection, with the idea of woodland and pathway woven into the design.
Blossom and Bee
Alongside carpentry and timber work, I also provide orchard-related teaching and services under the name Blossom and Bee, including pruning, grafting and talks on wild orchards and biodiversity.
